Anna Dello Russo for H&M

So after hunting through about 50 boxes in H&M on Oxford St friday night about 7.30 I finally found it there waiting for me!

This stunning coral collar necklace by Anna Dello Russo for H&M! Costing me a reasonable £29.99 I think for a statement piece like this is very good! It's stunning and I am very please d I found one after it being sold out in many stores. I can't wait to wear it'

Styling update!

The last week at work has been really busy launching new trends and a new window.
We launched the new Topshop trend called 'Witching Hour' which is very gothic, Victorian necklines, lace and sheer. The second trend we launches is called '60s Futurism' which is very monochrome but with metallics and grey. Very 60s but with a futuristic feel.

We also launched our new window scheme which was called the staircase window. It consisted of slices in different finishes such as mirror wood and black gloss. The stacked up with hanging light flex with mannequin on the staircase I think it looks really clean and I absolutely love the styling.
We based it around recent catwalks by Prada and Marc Jacobs very layered and very coat heavy.

My new gem bralet brought from Frock On Vintage which fits amazing! I teamed it with my denim high waisted shorts and vintage bumbag. I love the bralet covered in tacky gems it's so trashy 80s! X

Rainbow Shorts

I brought these shorts from eBay which I am absolutely in love with! They are rainbow and space dye print. Vintage lee so are super high waisted and super frayed! I can't wait to wear them this weekend. Think they were originally brought from etsy.com I paid £50 expensive but so worth it! X

Geo Girl

I have been really inspired by the Prada catwalk from fashion week. Clashing geo prints and amazing tailoring. I brought this geo print tunic from Ebay for £7 vintage from California. The I found the trousers in Primark for £14! I think I have recreated the look for the season very cheap and very well!
I went for neutral colours as the look is very busy, I think this is more wearable and can mix and match the pieces with other clothing and still be on trend. x

I love my pinafore!

So as I have said before I am obsessed with pinafores this season!
There was no way I was paying £60 for a black pinafore which I know I'll only wear through winter this year. As usual I went on the hunt and ended up buying an age 15-16 girls school uniform black pinafore from ebay which I absolutely love!

I have worn it many ways; with a lace Victoriana esq blouse with printed vintage shirts, jumpers its so easy to dress up or down and accessories I love it.

Brought from eBay for a bargain price of £9! It's also very similar to the JW
Anderson one from the collection at Topshop just launched which is priced at £65. Search girls school pinafore on eBay to grab your own now! X

New Kooples!

This is me and Andrew at work in our new jumpsuits as mentioned in my Tuesday treasures post. Buy yours now from Topshop for the ultimate winter wardrobe addition! X

Zoo Project Festival

Recently I went to zoo project festival which was amazing!
I found every excuse to wear feathers, bindis , glitter, tassels, sequins and anything Aztec!
I love festival fashion and love the whole layering look. I went for a tribal look For the zoo theme and dressed
It up with head dresses.

The theme for this weekend was definitely the more glitter the better! Bye bye summer :-( x

Tuesdays treasures

Today I brought this Grey jumpsuit from Topshop for £65. The fit is beautiful on its slightly high waisted and the tailoring is very flattering.

The weather is feeling cold and I think this will be perfect teamed with jumpers or shirts underneath. I think there is a lot of scope with this to dress it up or down with accessories or print. Good buy for winter! X

It's fur season..

Brrr it's 6am on a freezing cold Tuesday morning and getting out of bed for work is not so glamorous!

All I can think about is wrapping up in big fur jackets and beautiful wool hats. For me its that transitional period of the year. Yesterday I wore my mac but found it was too cold- one minute it's hot next minute it's winter. Upset that I missed out on my autumn mac wearing period it will just have to go away until spring.

Out come the big statement coats and the wonderful winter accessories. This year i'm going for brown vintage fur and a wide brim black hat. I don't know about you but I can't wait to wrap up for winter! X

Beautiful London!

Tonight I took Roxy my beautiful little fluff ball for a walk in Kensington gardens and it was absolutely stunning! I took these photos of the lake. It made me realise just how beautiful the city really is! Cannot wait to explore some more!
Enjoy everyone! X

Clashing prints for AW12

Today I took inspiration from Prada's clashing geo prints for AW12. Bright and 60s inspired. I love the colours that Prada used for the catwalk: vivid purples, Pinks, Oranges.

My shirt is vintage Givenchy which cost £30- I love the big pointed collar! and the skirt is aztec print which I picked up from Topshop this summer For £28.

To smarten the look up I have added a thick black leather waist belt to pull it all in some gold vintage earrings and of course popping purple lipstick.

I found it hard to get the right prints that work well together my shirt has a slight aztec geo print which matched that in the skirt so it works. When reviewing the catwalks I found that this occured throughout they would use tile print with a slightly different tile print clashing. Prada do this to perfection!

I love the colours in this outfit and I am definitely 'wearing print and wearing it proud this season!'

Hold-ups and denim

So yesterday I was watching Rihanna's we found love video and she wore hold ups with denim. I have seen a lot of people wearing this look at festival with double denim and creepers.

I'm thinking about rocking it more subtly with a vintage acid wash denim skirt and an amazing leotard or
Bralet! Maybe even rock some fishnet ones...

Watch this space! X

Outfit hunting!

One of my buys this weekend was this leopard print leotard from vintage store Rokit which I picked up for £7! I am a big fan of retro leotards for going out, the shapes are usually really flattering- low backs, low front, high leg cut. Usually I team mine with denim shorts/ leather shorts maybe a cheeky bumbag! Or to dress it up with a leather skater skirt or high waisted leggings!

This time I have gone with my ombré pastel shorts which I picked up from Ragged Priest for £35 the colours are beautiful! Teamed it with fishnets and creepers for that grunge look.

Wearing this out next weekend but going to add some big gold vintage hoop earrings and some gold rings.god I sound like a chav? more for the madonna esq look!

This is my new post on lookbook which I have named Ombré Leopard!

Happy Monday x

Saturday at Brick Lane

Finally today I spent doing my favourite thing.. Exploring! Since moving to London I am so keen to get out and about as much as possible and see this wonderful city.
Today I took one of my best friends Lucy to see the sights of Brick Lane because I can't keep away!
Everytime I go I always find amazing vintage pieces and today was no exception.

I found amazing fur coats for around £28, I brought an amazing leopard print leotard for £7 which I am definitely rocking next week for a trashy 80's look with gold earrings and fishnets.. madonna eat your heart out! An AMAZING leather tassle poncho for £45 which would be unbelievable for winter with a jumper and some boots!
The whole atmosphere is amazing there, everyone is there for fashion and because they love it. The coffee shops and food are also top notch, it is definitely my favourite place to be in London.
I also checked out Box Park in Shoreditch the pop up mall which was also very cool- lot's of little well known shops!

Today I wore one my favourite vintage pieces this aztec green skirt which I got on Ebay for £18 , this look reminds me a bit of a rasta with a twist.. some i'm naming it 'Rasta Grunge'. Lucy went for a sport chic look which she rocked very well!

Marc Jacobs | Spring Summer 2013 Full Fashion Show

Marc Jacobs is without doubt one of the best collections I have seen for SS2013.
This catwalk literally takes my breath away!
So monochrome and so unbelievably 60's! It's like my dream. This inspired
me to find a geo print 60's piece. Of course I went straight to Ebay to find
this little beauty! I picked this up for £14 vintage from California! I plan to
wear it with a Topshop funnel neck jersey some big gold vintage earrings and
of course a big fur jacket and tights for winter! My own piece of 60's chic for
a bargain £14!

Unique Loving!

I'm a huge fan of Topshop Unique.. This summer I was loving the cleopatra/ egyptian inspired collection and this winter I am loving the military feel.. This is one collection in which I just can't say no!

My recent buys include the cross print unique pinafore dress which is just heaven! I am going through a pinafore obsession for AW2012 which I will later discuss so this made me weak at the knees! It was an expensive £175 but I don't mind buying investment pieces like this. I wore it here with a tee when the weather has been quite warm, but can't wait to layer it with a jumper and belt either over the top or underneath and of course some killer winter boots!

Second is my leather and wool dress which I brought last week for £150 from the second release of the season. My boyfriend said I look like a bond girl in this (could be worse!)
I have had a lot of compliments when wearing this and now the weather has got cold it's perfect with tights and heeled boots! I felt the need for minimal accessories as the dress is such a statement dress.

I didn't think much of the SS2013 catwalk at London Fashion week last week. Compared to the last 2 seasons it didn't excite me as much as usual. Maybe this will curb my Unique spending!

Frock on Vintage Studio

My wonderful friend Pam Cheema owns a vintage studio in Birmingham called 'Frock on Vintage' and this week she has made my week and found me the most stunning vintage pieces...

The first is this stunning bralet! Tacky gems are everywhere at the moment & I think this is just enough for my wardrobe! Thinking of teaming this with a vintage acid wash high waisted denim skirt or my leather skater skirt. VERY excited to rock this one out!

The second is something I have been looking for in ages.. a decent vintage bumbag! Pam found me this very rare Moschino bumbag which i know will come in handy on nights out! What a find...
